All new or used mobile homes or construction are required to submitt a packet to the Nisqually Pines property standards administrator containing the following documents.

Site survey
Thurston County building permit
Thurston County approved septic plan
Site Plan

The packet can be obtained at the office during normal business hours.

*Please note that a permit is required for the demolition of any structure.

MOBILE HOME POLICY
March 1993 (Revised August 2003)
 I.          PURPOSE
 

A.  To establish procedures for members bringing in mobile homes for use as a permanent residence.

B.  To insure that mobile homes being brought in meet acceptable standards that will guard against severe impact to this community.

 II.        DEFINITIONS
 

A mobile/manufactured home means a vehicular, portable structure built on a chassis designed to be used as a residential dwelling and which bears an insignia issued by a state or federal regulatory agency indicating that the mobile/manufactured home complies with all applicable construction standards of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development definition of a manufactured home.  A commercial coach, recreation vehicle or factory built home is not a mobile/manufactured home.

 III.       STANDARDS
 

The following standards are required for bringing in a mobile home (as defined above) as a permanent residence:

                        A.  Mobile must not be over five years old as evidenced by the Certificate of Title

            B.  Mobile must be at least 14 feet wide.

            C.  Skirting must be attached within 30 days of placement.

                        D.  Minimum entry porch shall be 3 ft. x 4 ft.

 IV.       PROCEDURES
 

Members bringing in mobile homes as a permanent residence must:

                        A.  Have a valid Thurston County Mobile Home Permit.

            B.  Submit an approved Thurston County Site Plan.

                        C.  Provide a current surveyor's map showing location of property stakes.

            D. Provide a copy of the approved Thurston Septic Permit.

 V.        ADMINISTRATIVE HANDLING
 

            A packet will be assembled for members that will include:

                        1.  Copy of this Policy

                        2.  Copy of the Covenants

                        3.  Request for water hook-up form

When the packet is returned, approval by a minimum of two Board members will be       required before the mobile home can be brought in.

            All paperwork will be kept on file at the office for future reference.

 NOTE:  ANY DEVIATION OR VARIANCE OF THIS POLICY WILL REQUIRE
  THE APPROVAL OF A MAJORITY OF THE BOARD MEMBERS.
